Recommend? Yes
Analysis: Ustadh Alomgir Ali recommended this book in a class of his on Tawfiq Online and since then I became obsessed. Yes the cover is beautiful, stunning and eye catching however the contents are not like any book I have read.
After an introduction, an explanation of Makki and Madani chapters, history of the compilation of the Qur’an, there is a succinct summary of the types of Qur’an chapters and their themes.
Everything about this book screams succinct, clear and just pleasing to the eye.
However it is not just the aesthetics of the book that make it unique but the research and compilation that is absolutely immaculate. Each chapter of the Qur’an has a diagram that examples all the themes of the verses in groups, it has:
- The period of revelation
- Virtue
- Key themes and messages
- Selected verses
- Supplications in every chapter
- Selected vocabulary
These subheadings for every chapter merge together to create a succinct, precise and easy to understand evaluation of each surah and its important parts. This book is most helpful if you are learning about the Qur’an and it aids in the evaluation of each surah.
I find it most beneficial to have a list of supplications from each surah it has aided me in my daily du’a as well.

I do recommend always buying books from your local Islamic shops to give business to others in your community.
May Allah azza wa jal accept the efforts put in by the author and all those who worked on this fantastic book! Ameen
