The Prophet ﷺ said “Du’a is worship.” (Abu Dawud)
“Du’a is a manner of humiliating one’s self to Allah and acknowledging the power and capabilities of Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him”
.
There’s been countless times I have completely forgotten making du’a for something and only realised that it has been answered some time after. It’s beautiful and a blessing to be given the ability to have this conversation with our Lord. .

Not only has Allah, Azza wa jal given us the ability to worship Him through du’a, speak to Him, pour our heart out to Him but he has also given us du’a acceptance times. A time where du’a is accepted.
Du’a acceptance times:
1. Laylat-ul Qadr
2. In the last third of the night
3. Sa’at al Istijabah – The last hour of Friday
4. Following prescribed prayers
5. Between Adhaan and Iqamah
6. When rain falls
7. When drinking zamzam
8. When prostrating
